Help us to help them, by donating to our not-for-profit, registered charity.
Not everyone can do what we do.

Caring for macropod joeys is a time and labour intensive job. Joeys need to be fed around the clock on a regular schedule, and their stress kept to an absolute minimum - which means only one regular handler.
Native animals are also protected by law, and you need to be a licensed wildlife carer to be able to raise them.
Apart from the time and logistics, there is also the money involved.

On average, each joey costs between $1,000 and $1,500 to raise to release, which takes around 18 months. This figure includes the cost of specialised milk formula, and some incidentals.

With the large costs involved, we are in the difficult position of either refusing to take more animals into care, or asking the public for help.

So to give others the chance to help, without having to give up their lives, we're offering you the chance to donate to our cause and help the animals in our care.
